That's not in anyone's interest. traduzione veloce: si sta cercando di creare una licenza che permetta a chiunque di distribuire i giochi liberati, perchè se è possibile scaricarli solo da una fonte, se questa sparisce ciao ciao giochi. il discorso prende spunto dal recente rilascio di 3 giochi da parte di imagisoft (thread): il download è esclusivo dal loro sito, ma liberated games ha quasi ottenuto il permesso di distribuirli a sua volta, permesso che vorrebero esteso a chiunque. se avete idee fatevi avanti. spero si sia capito qualcosa, il msg inglese è molto più chiaro

penso che aiuto in quel senso lo ricevano da loro. bisognerebbe chiedere ad entrambi. la cosa bella di WOS è anche la documentazione delle email con cui contattano le software house per chiedere il rilascio dei loro giochi. in assenza di una licenza può far vedere la parola del titolare del gioco. |

su liberated games potete leggere un commento sull'utilità di contattare una software per richiedere la liberazione di un gioco.
ne riporto un piccolo estratto. "...When you email a large company, don't expect a response. Once a product isn't sold or supported any more, if you ask about it you might not even get an answer. If you do, expect it to be a frontline support staffer who has no power to liberate the game giving you a standard "Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately..." response..." il tutto nato da una discussione su lode runner online, che pare non essere cos' libere come pensavo all'inizio, o almeno non per ora. |

Il progetto deve...ancora partire! Mi spiego. Freethegame sta già agendo ed operando, ma gli effetti non sono immediati. E' necessario formare un fronte comune piuttosto "grassoccio", al fine di avere più visibilità e maggiore considerazione.
Quando questo fronte comune, magari affiancato da nomi illustri del videogaming, riuscirà a far liberare qualche grosso titolo, è auspicabile si ingeneri un effetto domino, così che altre software house rendano disponibili le nostre vecchie glorie :-) |

Se posso consigliare (magari lo sapete già tutti) su un certo famoso sito dei "sottocani"... (si può citare?) ci sono le minibiografie delle softwarehouse dove si indica anche lo status: defunta o viva.

Le informazioni circa le software house, vive o defunte sono di sicura utilità per il progetto. Al momento il progetto stesso è un pelo arenato perchè stiamo lavorando a 3.0. Se nel frattempo qualcuno volesse iniziare a creare delle schede delle software house reperendo info da tutta la rete (in modo da avere informazioni più complete..sottocane come dici tu ultimamente non è più aggiornatissimo..)..potrebbe essere um bel passo avanti .. ciaotsam -------------------- |
