LA PREMESSA
OldGamers Stuff vuole essere un'osservatorio. Un osservatorio di VG che guarda all'intero universo videoludico dal punto di vista storico e artistico. Progressivamente, offrirà articoli, interviste, schede Hardware, schede di Game Designers, Software Houses, licenze d'uso dei videogiochi, ecc. Una sezione di filosofia del videogaming. LA GENESI (cronaca di un incontro) L'immagine dell'osservatorio può essere legata a un faro. Forse troppo pretenzioso. E allora a un cannocchiale, un binocolo. Avete presente l'albero in Monkey 2 in cui incontrate i genitori? In cima c'è un cannocchiale, ma il posto non ha un nome. Anche in Sam 'n' Max c'è un cannocchiale. Nella 'World Biggest Ball of Tween'. E il primo posto che si vede è il Ratto Sfatto. Il Ratto Sfatto sarebbe bellissimo, ma poi come si fa ad essere seri? "Scusa, dove lo trovo l'articolo sulla metareferenzialità nei VG?" "Nel Ratto Sfatto".  Ma il criceto in Day of the Tentacle come si chiama? Uhm, il criceto di Ned Edison.... ... ...... ......... IL CRON-O-BINETTO! Per chi conosce DOTT, il Cron-o-John è un mito. Poichè serve per viaggiare nel tempo e poiché in DOTT vi ritrovate sin dall'inizio in passato, presente e futuro, abbiamo pensato che possa essere un nome possibile per questa sezione. Il titolo potrebbe essere "Il Cron-o-John" oppure "Il Cron-o-binetto" (traduzione ufficiale italiana). Il sottotitolo "Passato, presente, futuro dei VG", oppure "Come ti scarico le idee!" o altri ancora ("Lo sciacquone degli OldGamers" no, eh? ).Immaginatevi uno che fa filosofia dei VG seduto su un cesso mobile che viaggia nel tempo. Questa è l'essenza dei VG. Beh, cosa ne dite? -------------------- «L'anima del piacere è nella ricerca del piacere stesso».
