io l'acquistai anni fa a 9.90, credo in edicola. La parte mercantile è davvero ben fatta. La parte rts un pochino meno. c'era pure la funzione lan multiplayer ma quando uno dei player attaccava o veniva attaccato, il gioco si bloccava a tutti per permettere a lui di combattere...

Comunque resta molto carino!

Dal forum tedesco una soluzione per giocare a risoluzioni piu' elevate di 1280x1024, ma soprattutto anche in monitor 16:9.

This guide applies to the patrician 2 Gold version of Pointsoft.
I can not guarantee that it will work with other versions,
There the patrician exe is possibly copy-protected and equipped with a compression.


First, we open the Windows calculator to our desired resolution in the
hexadecimal format to bring.

Example:

1280 x 800

1280 dec 500 = hex
dec = 800 320 hex

1680 x 1050

I personally use hex editor MX->http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chip.de%2Fdownloads%2FHex-Editor-MX_30351843.html (also in German - GOOGLE AXE HEX editor - I think it's free and in English - also a build in HEX to decimal converter)

If the file is open we go in the menu click search,
Search & replace, and type in the hexadecimal search box
following witch number a (copy- paste works too!):

< 00 04 is the 400 hex = 1024 dec
<-the 00 03 is the 300 hex dec = 768

Now you come to this location:



Now we change the blue range
is shown in this image:



00 04 in the first recorded value on your piece of paper
for me it was 00 05 (1280)

and 00 recorded 03 in the second value.
in my 20 03 (800)


We have successfully made the first change!
The resolution was changed from 1024 x 768 on your preferred resolution.

Now must do analogue of the first amendment with the following addresses:

Change the 00 04 in the quoted value of your desired resolution:

If your desired resolution is not greater than the maximum standard resolution of 1280 x 1024,.
Since you are now ready and can save the file under a different name!

All others must perform following steps:

Search:

05 in the X value of the recorded change the 00 in both search results.
Example:

for 1920-> 80 07
for 1440-> A0 05
for 1680-> 90 06

After all changes have been made to save as... and save the file, including file name.

It could be a y resolution > 1024 600 still upwards

The default resolution of 1024 x 768 is not longer there, it was overwritten with your desired resolution.

Carissimi, purtroppo le immegini presenti in quel thread sono scomparse. Qualcuno le ha mica conservate e sa come completare la seconda parte del tutorial per il cambio risoluzione, oppure avrebbe un eseguibile in 1920x1200 da passarmi?
