Sbaglio o non partecipa nessun autore italiano?

Eh, già.

80 giochi? Mi pare davvero un numero esagerato. O questa nuova gestione è molto più preparata della precedente, oppure c'è una marea di fuffa che lévati.

Sono davvero tanti. Io stesso sono rimasto un po’ spiazzato... impensabile giocarli tutti.
Però meglio così. :-)

Fuffa c’è n’è sempre stata tanta, la maggioranza secondo me.
L’importante è che ci siano anche una manciata di titoli validi! :-)

Non ricordo le regole per partecipare all'IF Comp. Chiunque può entrarci?

Sì.
L’importante è che:
- il gioco sia narrativo
- in inglese
- assolutamente inedito in inglese



Io comunque ho già giocato 5 o 6 titoli.

io, come appassionato di avventure grafiche non dovrei proprio esprimermi in proposito, ma dato che sono contraddittorio, bislacco e lunatico, parlo lo stesso.

Secondo me, ad ogni modo, la regola delle due ore di gioco massime di gioco è tremenda.
Probabilmente introdotta con il buon intento di aumentare il numero di avventure valutabilii per giudice, di fatto trasforma la competizione in una gara per il miglior "inizio" di avventura o per la miglior avventura breve.

Questo è un dibattito sempre aperto...

Sicuramente ha prodotto il risultato di cui parli: negli anni la maggior parte dei giochi proposti all'IFComp è stata tarata sulle 2 ore di gameplay. E ormai quasi tutti vengono pubblicati con la soluzione a portata di mano.
Le 2 ore sono diventate anche un po' lo standard di un certo tipo di AT amatoriali, probabilmente perché è anche una durata ottima per bilanciare gameplay e facilità d'uso: già è difficile trovare giocatori, se poi i giochi sono troppo lunghi, diventa quasi impossibile. :-)

Tieni però presente che il limite di 2 ore serve per esprimere il giudizio. Poi uno può continuare a giocare.
Oppure può giocare meno di due ore.
Non è poi un vincolo troppo grande, considerando quando sono diverse fra loro le AT. Ci sono capolavori lunghissimi (che richiedono mesi di gioco) e capolavori brevissimi (che richiedono pochi minuti). Fissare un tetto di 2 ore è forse l'unico modo per far funzionare una competizione di questo tipo.
