Hi,

Well, the game has a Spanish translation of the version of DOS diskettes and CD, I would like to adapt to the GOG version (wyrmkeep version) but I would need the tools to extract the texts of the two versions and GOG for later import the text with the changes.

It's posible? Do you guys still you have the necessary tools?

All that we had to translate was into ITE.RSC and SCRIPTS.RSC.
Both files can be opened thanks to a tool coded by a french guy back in the day. Dorian Gray was named.
His website is no longer available, but luckily we still have it!
You can find it attacched at the end of this post.
And feel free to ask, we will be happy to help!

Can someone help me with this? I don't know how I should use the tool. If I run it, I get some questions, but I can't see that it extracts somethings from the ite.rsc- or scripts.rsc-file.

I just downloaded the tool and tried myself, just my two cents:

It should ask if you want to extract or insert and if you want to refresh or not the files already on the hd.

So: are you sure you are running the tool from the directory where the game is installed?
or maybe you are applying the program onto a game version for which the program wasn't designed for?
There are at least three different release of this game.

I have a german dos-cd from 1994 and the english version from gog.com. I copied the tool into the game/disc directories (where ite.rsc is). When I start it, it asks me if I want to export or import. I choose export and that existing files can erase. Than the tool just says "Press any key to terminate" and nothing is happend.

You have to manually create the folders "ite" and "scripts" first.
The tool only need ite.rsc and script.rsc to function.
